this is one of the quotes from this company called storypeople that have the strangest drawings, but some of the coolest quotes ever. i was first introduced to them on south street in philly. i found this one the other day and felt really inspired by it. everything should change because our time here is limited... and so valuable. i heard a great sermon today on serving and what that means and my mind is still churning it, so ill have to post more about it later. but for now i wanted to share the quote and the profound gratefulness i have for all of you, my dear friends, who may be so far away but still feel so close to me in spirit. i thank God for you on such a regular basis! and it makes me so happy to think of how happy our friendships make Him! :) thank you for all of your feedback and your prayers... i am certainly cycling up. you are in my thoughts and prayers as well! much love.
p.s. we went to lake berryessa with adam's parents this weekend and jackson learned to swim! i LOVE having a puppy! here's a few shots and a video :)
his first try... he bounced backwards out of the lake and then went downstream a little because the stick was floating that way - how smart!!
jackson's success! and he loved it!

That is so awesome; I've never seen a dog learn to swim before! I have to admit, I'm just a tad jealous of your dog. Eddie doesn't like the water and actually doesn't even really play. He just chews on towels and whatever food he can drag out when we leave. :-) I think he must not have had anyone to teach him to play as a beagle. The dislike of water thing is normal, though. Apparently beagles in general don't like to be wet. At any rate...thanks for sharing the video. It was fun!
I'm glad to hear you are cycling up, Sharon. Hearing that makes me do this :-D Is that sermon you heard online? It's fun to communicate with you via blogging. Thank you for your friendship!
Oops. I meant to play as a puppy. Haha.
What? It's been a whole YEAR since this post???
Officially time for me to bug you about posting something new. How about wine country trips for starters?
